You’ve spoken, we’ve listened! Microsoft made some changes to the Autobill process which will save you time and ensure a smooth transition going forward. Effective November 19, 2015, the following business rule changes went into effect regarding the Autobill process.
All new customers are automatically opted into the Autobill program
Autobill status will transition with the product line the customer is transitioning from
Customers who were opted out of the Autobill program will no longer be opted back in annually
If a customer is opted out and you submit their manual renewal order, you should be prompted at the end of the order to either “Remain opted out” or “Enroll into Autobill program”
